Meet the Coaching Team

Head Boys Wrestling Coach
Patrick Schlosser

Coach Schlosser is in his 19th year of coaching and has served as the Head Boys Wrestling Coach for the Blue Jays for the past three years, and an assistant for the previous two years. He hails from Hettinger, ND, where he competed in football and wrestling at Hettinger High School, finishing 4th as a junior and 3rd as a senior. He helped his team to a runner-up finish in Team and Duals at the NDHSAA State B Wrestling Tournament.

After high school, Coach Schlosser earned a degree in Physical Education/Health with a coaching minor from Dickinson State University. He began coaching wrestling while still a student, working with the Richardton/Taylor/Hebron area in the RTH/Hettinger Coop.

Coach Schlosser has worked with various programs, including Hettinger/RTH Co-op, Watford City, Killdeer, and Loveland, Colorado. He has coached several state champions and place winners in North Dakota and Colorado.

Alongside coaching, he serves as a Wellness Teacher in the Blue Jay Academy at Jamestown High School. Coach Schlosser is supported by his beautiful wife Rebecca Schlosser.

Cody Jamtgaard

Grew up in Gillette, Wyoming and attended Campbell County High School. Competed in Football (2007 State Champs), Wresting 4 X team champs (School won 14 straight team titles), 2007 State Champ, 2006 2nd place). After high school, attended Dickinson State University for wrestling (4x National Qualifier) while graduating with Major in K-12 Physical Education/Health with minor in Coaching. Began coaching wrestling with the DSU club team, with Coach Schlosser in Richardton/Taylor/Hebron.

Graduated with master's in physical Activity Leadership in 2018 from Northern Colorado University in Greeley, Colorado.

Moved to Bowman, ND in 2014 and coached Boys and Girls Golf for 2 years, JH Football for 7 years and HS wrestling for 7 years. Coached Bowman County’s first State Champ since Co-Op with Beach started and numerous placers.

Moved to Jamestown summer 2022 to teach and coach in Kulm for the EEK Co-op in JH Football and HS wrestling (1 state champ, 1 runner up, top 10 team finish).

Now with JPS, started as a Day Treatment Teacher but now back teaching PE at Washington and Louis LaMoure Elementary schools. Also Coaches 7th grade football and Middle School fastpitch softball.

Married Stacy Jamtgaard July 22, 2017. First Child, Ambrose born in 2020. Second child, Anders born in 2023. 3 dogs, Biscuit, Daisy, and Elway.
